This is a game I came up with recently, and technically it’s the first in the series I started with DAAR where creating a playable analog version is tricky (but possible!).

The twist that makes it work well is the number 9: it’s the digit that allows for the highest score, but every time a 9 appears, your turn ends and you lose the chance for an extra turn.

The fact that the digits always increase makes the game “converge,” as they say in game design, meaning it inevitably moves toward an end.

RULES:

On your turn, click any digit (1–8) to randomly "roll" it into a higher value.

Match 3+ identical numbers in a line to score points (e.g., three 7s = 7 points).

You get an extra turn if you:

  • Complete a Match.
  • Click a number marked with a Circle.

BEWARE! If you roll an Orange 9, your turn ends immediately—even if you earned an extra move!

Be the first to reach 50 points, playing against the AI.
