For several years, I had an idea in my notes for an absurd board game. A simple game of Checkers—but after each capture, two empty squares become linked and turn into “the same square.”

A physical prototype of this game failed miserably after the first playtest: it was too difficult to understand what was happening on the board. But here it is, reborn as a video game you can play against an AI rival. The linked squares are now easy to visualize, and when a piece lands on one of them, it is identically replicated on the others.

In fact, it’s harder to explain than to play, so… give it a try and let me know! I consider it an experiment, but I hope it’s a successful one, or at least a playable one.
